Jason Jenkins is a veteran professional with decades of experience in the production entertainment industry, but if you have heard of him, you probably know him as “Cannonball”. Jenkins graduated from Otterbein University in Columbus, Ohio with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Technology & Design. Post college, Jenkins gained valuable experience as a lighting designer/director, crew chief, and technician with multiple production companies including Bandit Lites, Theatrical Lighting Systems, 4Wall Entertainment, and Premier Global Prductions. He has toured with artists, such as One Republic, Third Day, Toby Keith, Terri Clark, Seether, Hoobastank, Twiztid, Brandon Heath, Donny Osmond, Ben Folds, Mandisa, and Steven Curtis Chapman. He has worked in various capacities as both an employee and subcontractor for production vendors, directly for artists, and artist management. Travelling around the world, working with different teams in multiple countries, he has acquired exposure to a broad spectrum of methodologies giving him an extensive and unique perspective on the production industry as a whole.

In 2014, Jenkins retired from touring and joined Elite Multimedia as the company’s Head of Lighting. By 2015, Jenkins had made a name for himself within the company. He was promoted to Director of Operations and became responsible for Event Operations & Labor for the company as well as managing inventory fleet development. As the Director of Operations, he routinely draws on his education, industry knowledge, and years of experience ‘on the road’.
