Chelsea GillGrowing up in Grand Ledge, Michigan, Chelsea developed a love for music and the arts at a young age. She also traveled extensively with her family as a child, further strengthening her sense of adventure and belief that borders cannot keep you bound. After graduating from high school, she moved to Texas to work with a non-profit ministry called Teen Mania. While working in the organization’s event venue she was first introduced to concert lighting. Two years later, she moved to continue her college education and ended up at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. While pursuing a music degree, studying voice and songwriting, she also worked in many of the campus venues developing her programming and lighting design skills. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree, she began freelance work at different venues throughout the city and was hired to tour as the Lighting Director with Sara Evans. As her career continued to grow, she moved on to tour with Sara Bareilles, and most recently toured as the Assistant Lighting Designer for Oprah Winfrey’s The Life You Want Tour. Residing in the Inglewood area, Chelsea continues to write music and enjoy her passion for travel and art when she isn’t working on the road.
